Our client an established Nursing Home in Waterford and are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing
* Must be registered with An Bord Altranais.
* Must have at least 4 years Assistant Director experience with 3 years care of elderly experience.
* Must have excellent client care experience
* Recruitment and training
* Supervision of staff, nursing procedures and staffing levels
* Preparation new nursing policies and practices
* Maintanence of detailed records for all aspects of the nursing home
* Liasing with families, residents, staff and management to ensure the smooth running of facility
The successful candidate will have
* A patient-centred approach to elderly care and good people skills
* A proven track record in staff organisation, communication and leadership
* Ability to set high standards and have these standards maintained
* Ability to promote a team environment between employees
* Sound decision making skills
* Good appreciation of finance issues
* Attention to detail
Salary is very neg. depending on experience 50,000 - 60,000euro
